Is there a way to use qt codex photo-JPEG in max 7 64 bit?

I have been using this object to load single images from the disk quickly:

[jit.movie @engine qt @codec photo-JPEG @codecquality min @autostart 0 adapt 1]

I was told to use jit.matrix to handle the images, but I don't think it will work because I'm dealing with 6000+ images so I'm not convinced memory limitations will allow. Maybe i'm wrong. Can anyone help?
