I created a max4live patch using Max7 and the jit.record command works fine in there. It doesn't work when I tried using this in in Max4Live which uses Max8. Is there something I am not doing right?

Also, is there anyway to get Ableton Live to open Max4live patches with Max 7 instead of 8? (I can't save anything on Max 8 yet, even though I bought the Max 7 software). Thanks!
