linkwitz riley with variable slope

    imagine i have something like a l.-r. crossover made of basic objects such as onepole~, comb~, and * -1.
    in the "classic" version the filters have a slope of 50% per octave and the phase correction can easily be handled by inversion and allpasses (because the phase shift of a 50% per octave sloped filter is -90°)
    now i want to change that rolloff and give the user the possibility to set it to -12db or -18db. how do i calculate the phase shift? or do i really need to do the phase correction layer by layer when cascading filters?
