but i don't think access to the drum rack is currently implemented in API.

i did see a windows only device though, which created symlinks, which you can drag into drum rack, which is a dirty workaround i guess.

that was years ago and i'm still waiting for new possibilities. if we could drag n' drop files from m4l devices, that would already help very much with alternative file browser devices..

I'm really interested in filling a drum rack with audio clips (in fact filling it with a Simpler that holds the audio clip). Do you have any solution now ? I know that you can do it from the Push controller, as the script is in Python and use the LOM, it might be possible to achieve it (from either Max4Live or Python)
