I've been banging my head on this problem for a while now, can't find a solution and it's time to ask for a little help.

Basically I need to trigger different scenes in live by their name. I went through the API manual, I tried many different routes, but I'm still stuck and the deadline is getting really close..

Basically I need to trigger different scenes in live by their name. I went through the API manual, I tried many different routes, but I'm still stuck and the deadline is getting really close..
Does anybody managed to do this?

Well you can get the name of every scene, and you can trigger scenes, so it definitely can be done. You could make a [dict] that maps the scene names to their ids, and query that dict to get back the ids from the names and trigger the scenes.
