      one of many ways :

      same here, it won't open in M6 but reading the code it was:
    • Apr 25 2013 | 7:13 pm
      it was just a message box with 1 1 written in it - connected to a message box with 11 written in it connected to a number box - click the 1 1 and out pops the number 11 - thats what you meant right ?
      this should work :
      ----------begin_max5_patcher---------- { "boxes" : [ { "box" : { "maxclass" : "message", "text" : "11", "fontsize" : 12.0, "outlettype" : [ "" ], "patching_rect" : [ 65.0, 86.0, 32.5, 18.0 ], "numinlets" : 2, "fontname" : "Arial", "numoutlets" : 1, "id" : "obj-2" }
      } , { "box" : { "maxclass" : "flonum", "fontsize" : 10.0, "outlettype" : [ "float", "bang" ], "patching_rect" : [ 65.0, 135.0, 50.0, 18.0 ], "parameter_enable" : 0, "numinlets" : 1, "fontname" : "Arial", "numoutlets" : 2, "id" : "obj-11" }
      } , { "box" : { "maxclass" : "message", "text" : "1 1", "fontsize" : 12.0, "outlettype" : [ "" ], "patching_rect" : [ 65.0, 55.0, 32.5, 18.0 ], "numinlets" : 2, "fontname" : "Arial", "numoutlets" : 1, "id" : "obj-7" }
      } ], "lines" : [ { "patchline" : { "source" : [ "obj-7", 0 ], "destination" : [ "obj-2", 0 ], "hidden" : 0, "disabled" : 0 }
      } , { "patchline" : { "source" : [ "obj-2", 0 ], "destination" : [ "obj-11", 0 ], "hidden" : 0, "disabled" : 0 }
      } ], "appversion" : { "major" : 6, "minor" : 1, "revision" : 2, "architecture" : "x86" }
