Making Fade in / Fade out in 3D space???

    Hi,
    I got stock here........
I put all my movies as jit.gl.texture and jit.gl.videoplane, use jit.gl.render in window. I need to make a totally fade in / fade out in the jit.window because I want to use it for smooth transitions of 4 different seasons. I asked somebody how to do it and he told me three options:
    1. put a videoplane in front of camera with first totally transparency and change the color I want.
    2. Dim the light
    3. change camera's position and angle
I want to ask if you have any other ideas for the fade in / fade out or any advice for the smooth transition of different scenes in jitter 3D space.
    thank you so much
    CK

There's a fade to black-or-white shader in the v001 shader beta
http://001.vade.info/?p=18. This would work well if you were
rendering to texture and displaying on a final videoplane.
