This is just something I've been trying to figure out how to do. I've figured out a version where I can change the position and scale of jit.gl.cornerpin if it's in its native aspect ration of the source, similar to jit.gl.videoplane (i.e., it scales proportionally by changing one float). This patch is attached in this post.

I'm trying to figure out how I would do this if I mapped the corners (i.e., so it is an irregular shape). In other words, I would like the jit.gl.cornerpin to retain its proportions, and scale proportionally, in case I need to nudge it for accuracy purposes while mapping.

I know VPT7 can do this, however, I don't want to send stuff into there because I feel like that would be cumbersome when this is for a more simple yet specialized task. Attached is my patch for scaling/ repositioning and keeping in the aspect ration of the source file (if anyone else needs that :D).

Here's a possible solution. The usual way of scaling is considering the geometric center as the scale origin, so you have to:

undo the offset, repositioning the coords.

offset the "object" to 0, 
scale,
undo the offset, repositioning the coords.
