Max 7 and Ableton Suite 9.7.5

Hi! I used to have a standalone Max 7 license, but since buying Ableton Suite 9, which includes Max for Live, I cancelled Max subscription. But, for some reason, I have to launch Max through Ableton Max for Live Editor to be able to Save/Export patchers, even though it launches the same app? Otherwise I get runtime only and prompt to update subscription? Is that expected behaviour?

- Dec 31 2017 | 5:17 pmThis is the expected behavior. Max for Live installs and authorizes through Ableton Live, and you need to use Ableton Live in order to run Max.
