Max 8 version with Live 10

If we want to start using Max 8's full features in Live 10 is it ok to replace the version of Max 8 included with the current version of Live or do we need to wait for them to release an update? I'm talking about copying the Max application into the Live app using the "Show Package Contents" command on a Mac.
- Sep 25 2018 | 7:48 pmI've tried it and can't recommend it yet. It looks like my m4l patches work fine with Max8(bcbdf35) standalone, but I have problems with the same patches in Ableton Live (10.0.3) and Max8(bcbdf35).
