I am trying to make a system where MIDI signals control motors through the use of an Arduino. I don't have a ton of experience, but I am trying to work my way through the tutorials I did find on the Internet.

I got my Arduino Uno set up and working, and I uploaded my first basic program. I just downloaded Max and I am trying to send a MIDI signal from Ableton Live into Max that I will then route(hopefully) through the Arduino to control 4 separate motors.

It says to open the MIDI Setup menu and to verify that the input sources "to Max/MSP1" and “to Max/MSP 2” are on. I am not seeing these sources anywhere in the list. The list changes slightly when I plug my MIDI keyboard into the copuer through the USB cable, but I don't see a way to locate the MAS?MSP 1 and 2 input sources.
