Max not findings gen example patches

I am having a reoccurring issue with some gen patches I've taken out of the example folder of Max 7, running 7.1 on windows (7.2 has given me conflicts with my audio drivers in Ableton), and I can't figure out why it's happening. If I open the example patches the gen parts work fine, but when I copy them into my patch and the. reopen it often can't find one, specifically jit.gl.pix kaleidoscope. Any ideas? I'm not sure where the gen patches are actually stored and how to direct the file paths there I think that's what's really killing me.

- Apr 11 2016 | 12:37 pmI've posted my patch project below, though it won't be a ton of use to anyone without the touchosc template...when I have issues is right at the beggining, I get a yellow message in the max window saying it can't find the kalideoscope gen patches.
- Apr 13 2016 | 6:03 pmhi andrew, these example files are stored in /Users/Shared/Max 7/examples (you could find that location simply be searching in the Max File Browser, and click show in finder on the file)that location should be part of your search path (Options - File Preferences)
