I'm aware that this is probably a shot in the dark, but I'm having issues routing midi control changes from Max (using midiformat and midiout) through my Mbox 2 to my DSI evolver desktop. The extremely simple patch I have made for midi handling can easily send midi data to Logic via the "from MaxMSP 1" port. My Evolver has no trouble receiving midi control changes from my M-audio keyboard. If I try to send midi data using "Mbox 2 port 1" no data reaches the evolver. Has anyone else used these pieces of equipment in this way before? I cannot seem to find where the problem originates, since Max seems to be operating properly, and the Evolver seems to be receiving midi properly. Is it possible my MBox can't transmit control change data from its midi out?
