max/msp pluggo pluggins made of abstractions?

    Hi
    Im trying to make a plugin to use in Live. I have pasted the "plugin Objects" from Darwin Grosse Tutorial in my patch and tried to connect them. But my patch is made of abstractions. Will this be included in the plugin when opening in Live?

      Adding the plugin objects (they are Max object, not mine) will work fine - the basic tools (plugmidiin, plugconfig, plugout~) would only need to be on the top-level patcher. The "pp" objects, however, need to be connected to any parameter that you need to save; it's why I generally expose all saveable parameters to the top level patcher, so that I can properly save them. The abstractions should be saved into the plugin when you do the build, but for safety's sake, you might want to do what I do: create a folder with all of your external abstraction files, then "include" that folder when you are building the plug-in. This way, any image files and other peripherals are sure to be added.
