MAX/MSP (Windows 7) won't work with my Creative Sound Blaster Omni

I have a project where I want multi-channel output in real time, so I bought the Creative Soundblaster Omni USB external sound card. I wanted this because it has ASIO drivers. I tried it with MAX/MSP and so far I haven't gotten a peep out of it. I have tried so far: Testing the 5.1 and Stereo configuration in Windows. I was able to test all 6 channels to confirm all channels work. I played a music MP3 using Windows Media player and it sounded great.
But when I tried MAX/MSP in Stereo configuration, and in 6 channels I did not hear anything. I don't know if there are non-asio Sound Drivers to select that will work, but I tried and it didn't work. I have used the built in sound card before and it worked using Asio4All drivers.
I've configured windows for 2 channel, and 5.1 channel. I did get an error at one time saying my USB bandwidth limit was reached, so I removed my bluetooth mouse, and plugged in a wired mouse. I haven't had that issue after rebooting the computer, and re-starting Max.
It's kind of frustrating buying an expensive sound card and finding that it doesn't work, so any help would be greatly appreciated. The project I am working on is a MIDI controller interface, that features alternate tunings like Just Intonation. The multi channel output is essential to the design. I've been using Max for awhile, and I created this video. I'm showing this to show you that I understand how Max basically works and I can get sound from it ordinarily.
