I am very new in Max/Msp, so maybe my following problem is very easy to solve... but it would be great to get some help, because I am struggeling a while...

I am trying to playback an 6 channel file (.aif) with the mc.groove~ object.

With the "@chans 6" argument for the mc.groove I only got 6 times my first channel in every of my 6 Outputs, instead of having my 6 channels in seperate outputs. Every channel puts out only my first channel after unpacking.

I cant figure out how to get the signal of any other channel than the first one from my multychannel .aif file. Or should I use polywave? How is it possible to playback an multi-channel file?

It would be nice if anyone of you can help me :)

it tooks 7 seconds after pressing "start" untill the mc.groove~ is playing. Even after I had send a 0 to stop the mc.groove~ object, it automatically starts the playback after 7 seconds again?

Second Problem with this little patch:

I would try [groove~ buffer_name 6] into [mc.pack~ 6]. See the channels tab in the groove~ help file.
