is there a way to tell mc.plugout~ the channels destination?

I mean, let say we have mc.plugout~ @chans 10 - is there a way to tell the object, it's 10 channels starting from channel 5 for instance?

in this case mc.plugout~ @chans 10 would be equivalent to plugout~5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14

I didnt find argument or message to send to the object to do so yet, so i wonder if it's even possible?
