MIDI "theremin" output to Ableton Live's Analog or Operator Instruments? HOW???

Returner posted this a while back and said he'd share the m4l device but it's nowhere to be found...

I've looked over a bunch of forums and patches about glide and portamento implementation in Max, but one thing I can't get my head around about his M4L patch is that the "theremin audio" is coming from Analog inside Ableton... If MIDI notes come into Ableton as integers, how is the glide effect achieved so smoothly?

This also may lead into another question I have about polyphonic glide as implemented by the ROLI controllers and even the keyboard in Garageband for iOS... Are there any VSTs or polyphonic M4L instruments out there that have this feature?

Cheers,
G

Probably because Analog has Glide enabled. It will then glide from note to note in a step-free fashion.
