Minor delay~ bug

    Aug 14 2008 | 6:48 pm
For some reason there is no difference on my system between a delay~ object set to five samples and one set to four. Here is a little patch to show how they are the same:
The help file says that delay~ can accurately work at less than a vector size, so I am not sure what is wrong. I have not run into this issue using other delay~ values.

delay~ has issues with a delta of one sample in several places. Here's
your patch to look for one-sample-delta errors for buffers 1-1000:

Thanks, that's a really useful patch!
My current workaround is two delay~ objects chained together, such as 4 + 1 = 5. It's working so far, and with the coll file your patch makes all the bases are covered.
