I am about to buy a Mac Pro with 10-cores. I just wonder if there are benchmarks for MSP out there. I had hands-on on a 6-core already and of course it would outperform my i7 Macbook Air. But how much? My feeling was, not as much as I expected...; - ) but still significantly enough to go for a Pro.

I know about the Jitter benchmarks, but I am on Audio, Jitter is not a concern in my case.

To get the multicore performance I would need some heavy poly~s in that patch and then maybe see how many voices it can perform to reach 50% CPU or something like that...

Then of course I wonder how different computers compare etc...
