Multiple boids

    Just wondering is it possible to change the different elements in jit.boids3d so as for example the elements can be different colours or different shapes etc...

      jit.boids3d just spits out a matrix of x,y,z position values. you can do whatever you want with those values.
      one possibility is to send the output to jit.iter -> prepend position -> jit.gl.whatever (encapsulated in a poly). with this method you send the middle outlet of jit.iter to jit.unpack -> prepend target -> poly~
      another, perhaps more efficient possibility is to send the output of boids to jit.gl.multiple. you could split the matrix sections and send each section to a different gl.multiple object. jit.scanwrap, jit.split and their ilk might help in this situation.
