opendialog, jit.cellblock and retrieving values (symbol to message question)

i am storing various file locations in a jit.cellblock that get passed in with "opendialog" and "prepend set current" as shown in the jit.cellblock help. my problem now is, when trying to get out the data and passing it to a jit.qt.movie object, i get the message jit.qt.movie: doesn't understnad "symbol". is there a way to convert a symbol back to a message or to somehow store the data in jit.cellblock correctly? any other ideas?
    thanks! -parasew

hallo mathias ! route symbol is useful here. its fine the filepath IS a symbol, since when you once get spaces in there it will be needed as such. but the header "symbol" should be eliminated here. (even shorter: [substitute symbol read] instead of route and prepend ) best klaus

      Hey parasew,
I couldn't open your patch, so I'm not sure how you are coming out of [jit.cellblock], but does this work for what you are trying to do?
