OpenGL not responding?

    Hi community, I finally took the plunge and just couldnt resist Jitter's call anymore. I'm excited to see what happens now.. A hiccup has prevented my progress though, and I can't seem to get OpenGL to work.
    For some reason, whenever I open a Jitter patch and attempt to render a shape (using tutorial40 as my frame of reference), I get no response with a black window.
    Is there something I'm doing wrong, do I need externals?

      hello everyone, i just found this thread bc ive encountered the same problem. i have several of patches that were working fine until i played around with the expressions in jitexpr. first i thought i just got the formula wrong, but as i found out that even the original patches, as well as the patches before that didnt work anymore, i got some doubts about that^^
      the console says "warning: couldn't create context, trying without double buffering" plus "jit.gl.render: planecount of destination matrix must be 4."
      i guess it must be about the expression - but this is with the original expression which has 4 planes. will browse the forum about this in the meantime, posting this here in case someone else has the problem and finds this thread.

      i cant find anything directly related about it in the forum or elsewhere, would appreciate any hint :( i dont understand why it affects all the patches, even the ones i didnt touch at all, and which were working fine before. and i dont understand where this depth or double buffering happens, where i could affect it. and where and how i couldve changed the planecount of the destination matrix. it just seems completely random to me, telling me i should learn all the matrices stuff from the buttom up now :(((

      also, the window doesnt show its name "test" anymore, but the more or less default "u08100...."
