[OT] Kontakt 2 as VST in MSP

I am using the Kontakt 2 VST. It looks nearly identical to the Kontakt 2 app. There 4 banks for instruments but I haven't figured out how access banks B, C & D.
I can send midievent messages to the instruments in bank A on midi channels 1-16. How to I talk to channels 17-64? Is there a bank select message that I am not seeing?

are there really 64 midi channels. I thought that midi was limited to 16channels.

That is precisely the issue. 16 channels per device often mediated by a multichannel midi translator and the midi setup in system preferences. If you think this way, the Kontakt 2 VST is four devices with 16 channels each. With the standalone app you can get to each device via IAC buses. In a VST in MSP you have midievents that apparently see each plug-in as a single device with the usual sixteen channels.
So phrased another way, can a VST in MSP be directed to different devices? This is similar in concept to the idea of banks on synthesizers to make up for fact that midi is limited to 128 programs.
