[OT] mind blowing performance

    Sep 13 2007 | 8:08 pm
This is a bit OT, but I will post it anyway. I recently saw the FEED performance by Kurt Hentschlager (http://www.hentschlager.info/). If you get a chance, check it out. It was a transformative experience. >From his site it seems there will be a performance on Sept 15 in Belgium.

Really, I thought there were a few things that weren't to hot but FEED, Siren, Se mi sei vicino, the Macrolab performance and faceless to name a few more than made up for it.
      Weather was grim though.

A vote from me to on augmented sculpture
I too found ars a bit dissapointing this year (of course I didn't got a chance to see FEED) And the whole SL thing, I can't get why people are so into it, of course whit the goodbye privacy theme it kind of fitted
Maybe we can meet up next year if anyone is going to ars

Yeah the whole Second Life part was probably the least inspiring but in the context of the conferences it was..... entertaining I guess, even if a little Second Rate.
I'll certainly be there next year, I was going to post on the list to see if anyone was going as I was out there on my own and having someone to discuss patchs would have been good. Oh well to next year

jesus, even on the web that video was a bit mind blowing. i feel like an immersive installation would cause some kind of acid flashback.
