pluggo and closebang

I've got a routine that I run when my patch closes (it saves a hashMap as a cache file) which works great in a standalone or in Max itself. The problem is, when loaded into a pluggo, the closebang goes off every time the plug-in window is closed. Is there a way to send a bang when the host quits?

There's a "secret" object called "freebang" which only triggers when a patch is freed (that is, when the entire patch is closed). This might work for what you are doing.

      Aack! "Secret" objects!
Like we didn't have enough on our plates trying to keep track of all the "leaked" ones! ;-)
thanks, I'll give that a shot.
      cheers,

And here is a help file, to encourage cycling to include it into the docs... or at least into the distribution...
