Pluggo User library Idea

Hi, I have noticed quite a lot of requests for the pluggo of the month to be brought back. I think it would be a great idea for everyone to share their pluggo plugins and their max/msp patches.
As some of you might know, the Native instruments website have a User library for Reaktor users to upload their ensembles for all other Reaktor owners to download. Maybe there should be something similar, like a Pluggo and Max/Msp patch user library.
If the cycling 74 team were too busy to implement this, perhaps they wouldn't mind if I hosted the library from my website. I run an experimental electronic music netlabel in the UK and would be very happy to upload any home made pluggo vsts and max/msp patches for others to download. If people were happy to email me their pluggo vst's, I could build a page to host them for others to download. I'm sure cycling 74 would add a link to my site from their links page.
Let me know what you think and I may persue this idea further. Any feedback from the Cycling 74 team would also be cool.

Agreed, or at least now that there is a seperate Pluggo forum, a sticky thread with links to folks Pluggo's on. There have been several good round-ups of Pluggo's on forums such as KVR & even the Digi board, so it would seem appropriate to have one here, cheers Roger
PS. There is, of course, this: https://cycling74.com/twiki/bin/view/ResourceGuide/Plugin Developers

it is funny that the only 2 links to pluggos on the recently updated cycling74 website are the ones for zeep and greg davis, isn t it. both of these websites are down for years.
in emergency cases there is always vst-mac.info though.
if the number of released pluggos exceeds 2000+ one day, i will ask mister maxobjects.com to provide "plug-in" as a category. :)

      That's a very good idea.

A very, very good idea, especially since I've just lost all my 3rd party Pluggo's (including my own) after updating Pluggo, so I'm going to have to hunt them all down again. Never had this problem before - is it no longer a safe practice to keep your 3rd party plugs in the Pluggo plugs folder then ? cheers

With this in mind, here's a link to a thread from the Digi forum which has a pretty good round-up of 3rd party Pluggo's: http://tinyurl.com/h28zp cheers Roger
