plugmultiparam list length

    Hello world....
is there any way of using more than 256 parameters whit a plugmultiparam ?

No. It has the same 256-item list restrictions as the rest of
Max. Have you thought of storing and manipulating your
      data in a different way?

like XML ? or do u mean splitting up the list and reasemble ?
i don't like the idea of a plugin relying on anything else than what the host can remember...is there any other way than pp's ?
      i use a datamatrix to store sub-presets for interpolation....so a plugin with 8 parameters will use 8 + 8*8(for the datamatrix) + 32(for the spacematrix) + 2(for the interpolation coordinates)= 106 parameters.....
the problem only lies with the data-matrix, and only when then plugin uses more than 32 standard parameters...ie 8*32 = 256
-----one additional question.... is the any max limit for the number of plugin parameters a plugin can have ??

well you can use 2 or 3 of them if it is not to time critical what you are doing.
7 bit is always the limit for number of inlets/outlets
      as well as for lists.
      -list 110 110 110 110 110 110 110 110

      hosts have a limit.
for example 16*127 in logic, 400 in live 3.x, 999
      in cubase 5.x ...
