Presentation Mode Tricks

    Some tricks I've picked up for UI stuff over the years. Perhaps you all know all this already, perhaps it's terribly inefficient, but I'm hoping someone finds something useful here.

      I generally do the "slider-float communication" this way (more concise) :

      Oo, I like it. I think there must be some reason I have it set up the way I do, but I can't think of it right now.

      Do note that while a lot of this is UI tricks that help in max 4, the thread is called Presentation Mode Tricks, so I do hope you understand that max 5 is a prerequisite for getting much use from the thread.

      Though I used such sort of tricks also in Max 4, you just have to hide anything you don't want to see. To Roman: I guess you know these anyway or better.
      But I can share a presentation mode trick which isn't possible in Max 4, as it uses transparent colors:
