I’m trying to simulate a guitar amplifier using HISSTools. Using the help file for irnonlin~ with the overdrive~-object as the nonlinear system works fine.

When I exchange the two overdrive~-objects with two vst~-objects running a vst high pass filter it also works fine.

When I exchange the overdrive~-objects with vsts running a distortion pedal or guitar amplifier vst it does not work. The signal is mostly dry sounding, only a little distorted, and not like the vst.
