I'm having no joy with live.observer in poly~. I haven't even managed to troubleshoot it.

In this instance it always reports as voice 1 and has no continuous output. This is although I am looking at specific voice windows (in this case 10) and triggering directly from them. In the example given below I am using a fixed number of poly~ instances (65) but if the output if triggered by the message 'property value' in to the live.observer it always returns 1 then the number. As far as I can tell it should only be possible for it to be 10 and then the number. And it is if I trigger the '10' message that comes out of the thispoly~ object.

I have not reset the number of poly~ voices, I have eliminated the possibility of a target 0 message, the only messages in are pairs of lists. First one is 'target number' second is 'id number' I have no idea what I'm not doing incorrectly but any help right now would be greatly appreciated.

So I have figured out that I must be doing something wrong with the switching as only the first instance is ever outputting and any updates I put in to different instances also effect the first instance where the observer is working . I had thought using the target X message was meant to handle this, but clearly not. I'm sure it's something pretty simple I'm missing but any help is appreciated.

Still no joy, no matter how I try and set this up every live.observer and live.object behaves like it is in the first instance of the poly~. please help

I believe this was fixed in yesterday’s 8.0.5 release. Let us know if that is not the case.
