Im having real issues with Max using the search path of a project consistently and getting the dependencies correct.

Basically Ive organised my software into 2 projects

- a library, which is organised as a package

- a demo setup, which includes the (above) package on the search path

(rather than putting it in ~/Documents/Max/Packages .. as id prefer it be local to the projects I'm using it on)

all was working nicely, except now if I do 'update dependancies' on the demo patches, its says it cannot find any of the patches in the library.

YET, the demo patches work correctly... and I can go add things from the library without any issues.

in the project window, when I do 'update dependancies', not only do i get the errors, but it removes the patches marked as (implicit). YET if i go and edit the demo patches... it adds the implicit dependancies back again in the project window.

EDIT: just noticed, if close and reopen the project all the implicit dependancies are missing, but as before the demo patches work fine, and if i edit them, suddenly the implicit dependencies show up again

Project dependancies ... do they really work?
