I'm encountering an issue where, when using a live dial, the value i see on my Push 2 screen does not match with the number the dial has on the device itself. The value will very often have an offset of 1, for example: push screen says 11, while the M4L device says 12.

I found out that it seems to have something to do with the range that my dial has: 1-32. When i set that to 0-31, the problem is gone.

This is fairly basic functionality, am i missing something obvious?

Anyone? I'd assume this to be quite a bug if i can't properly operate a dial from my push, so i guess i must be overlooking something. I also found out that it's the type setting for the dial that seems to cause it.

- set type to int (issue is not there when set to float)

- turn the push-knob for the dial a few times and compare numbers (on push and in live) each time. they are quite often off by 1

i think it's because the push is sending out a float, but when you turn it into an int in max, it doesnt resolute to the whole int as expected. it will be close to the whole int but not exactally. i have encountered something like that when making stuff in serial. i'm not sure what this is called, someone will know.
