question: collecting interpolated line~ input data

    Aug 03 2006 | 7:00 am
    Hello all,
I'm having an issue that is very elemantary but causing some headaches currently. The coll object seems to be unable to deal with the coma used for data to create ramps using line~ (ex. 0.0, 1 200 0 200). Is there another way/object with which to store a series of this type of information with out the syntaxtical problem? Thanks in advance.
    cheers!

How about storing the data without the comma (0.0 1 200 0 200), then
placing a message box after the coll with the comma inside it: [$1,
      $2 $3 $4 $5]

Great! Thanks so much for the solutions.

Also, if you're using the "function" object (the graphical envelope
tool), set it to output points for line~ in its inspector. Now,
instead of value1, list, it'll just output one long list. (e.g. val1 0
      val2 time, etc.)
