Radial LFO

    Hi
Still working to wrap my haed around everything Radial has to offer! :-))
I've been fiddling with the LFO plugin but can't seem to get it working.
In a very simple set up I get a loop going in channel 1... just playing over and over.
Then assign the LFO to an effect slot. Now, if I choose "Chan_1.mix.pan" as the LFO1 parameter, leave the range to full, and select the "On" box should I hear a L/R pan? from the output of the matrix mixer?
Or does the LFO add a modulation 'offset' to the channel pan setting (in which case I should pan it full Left and the LFO will modulate it to the Right)
Should I see the interface controls move with the modulation if it's correctly configured?
Does the Matrix mixer play into LFO use at all in Radial? Or does it show up in the Matrix mixer as a null entry?
    Thanks for any help!

I assume you mean radiaLFO here. > > In a very simple set up I get a loop going in channel 1... just > playing over and over. > > Then assign the LFO to an effect slot. Yes, you should. > > Or does the LFO add a modulation 'offset' to the channel pan > setting (in which case I should pan it full Left and the LFO will > modulate it to the Right)
The range slider to the right of the pop-up menu that lets you choose where to send the LFO output lets you adust the output value range. If you don't do anything, it'll pan hard left to hard right. > > > Should I see the interface controls move with the modulation if > it's correctly configured?
If radiaL is running, yes. > > Does the Matrix mixer play into LFO use at all in Radial?
If you mean something like "Can I change the amount of return from an effects bus?", then the answer is 'sure.' All the parameters that can be controlled are shown in the pop-up menu, and listed in the manual.
The other thing that's helpful - as with ANY report of what you suspect is a bug - involves telling us what version of radiaL you're running, your OS version, and what version of pluggo [if you've got a copy] you have installed in your system.

Can't get any modulation at all. I've included a screen shot and the Radial LFO messages window.. > > The other thing that's helpful - as with ANY report of what you suspect > is a bug - involves telling us what version of radiaL you're running, > gregory >
Sorry about that.... I'm running Radial V1.35 (demo).... still waiting for my Radial and Pluggo Licence to arrive... On a 1.67Gig 15" G4 Powerbook with 2 gig ram and OS 10.4.6 with QT 7.1.1
If you need any other details I'm happy to oblige!
      Thanks for any advice...

I didn't. Can you mail it to gtaylor@rtqe.net?
      Thanks.

      Hi Lee,
I have updated radiaLFO on the downloads page to a version which actually might work....
      :)
Please let me know if you have any problems with it now.
      Cheers
      Andrew

      Yeee HA!
      Now we're cooking!
Thanks so much for that. I thought I was missing something fundamental, but at a first glance it seems to work fine now!
      I appreciate the prompt action.
