Request to run "Classic" when launching standalone?

I sent someone a standalone application I made using Max 4.6 under Mac OS 10.4. The application works fine on my computer. However, when the person I gave it to tried to run it on his machine, the OS complained that the app had to run in "classic" mode.
I can't figure out what would cause that, does anyone have a clue?
The other person is using a G5 I think.

get info, and uncheck "run in rosetta" or something like that.

It's not a problem with Rosetta, the user is on a PPC machine. The OS wants to run the app in OS9.

Apparently the application got corrupted when I sent it because the file was only a few KB, when it should be over 20MB.
I tried sending it again, hopefully it'll work this time.
