I've search and I've tried everything but I can't get this to work right. I have a simple task to do,

capture a sysex stream from a synth and save it to a file

I'm using match to catch the sysex patch dump and iter to break it into individual message. I tried using a seq object to then store that data, which prints out the correct data on bang, but on write, the formatting is incorrect. It seems to be saving as 16bit data. I tried using text with an itoa but had the same UTF16 issue. Help please.
