I am attempting the Sisyphean task of getting info from a Kinect 1 into Max MSP in this year 2019 and on High Sierra on Mac. Lord give me strength! This task is especially difficult because I know nothing about coding. Also, many tutorials that I can find on the subject of working with a Kinect on Mac are out of date, and many of the resources are unfortunately deprecated. I've been able to get my Kinect and my mac talking on Processing thanks to 

 (this man is an angel and my hero), and now I just need to get Processing and Max talking. I downloaded the OscP5 pack for Processing and have been fooling with some stuff on sending messages to Max pretty much thanks to various random internet forum posts, however I still haven't been able to get anything to send. Does anyone have any tips for me on how to get these to talk, or general wisdom on using Kinect with Mac in general? Thank you so much!!

Have you tried Delicode NI Mate? I'm also having this problem but with OS Mojave (which NI Mate is incompatible with) but I think it might work on High Sierra...
