I'd like to achieve being able to send a text block to [textedit], complete with spaces and carriage returns.

Right now, I can send multiple lines of characters just fine, as long as there are no spaces between them. However, as soon as I introduce spaces, I need to use quotes, which in turn displays the text with quotes.

Is there a way to strip the text of quotes?
