Sharing Device with Poly~ abstraction

I think this is a relatively simple question, and I read a few threads but couldn't find the answer I was looking for exactly. I'd like to share an audio device that uses a poly~ abstraction. How can I bundle the abstraction file with the patcher that contains it to be able to share it online? I've read about freezing and dependencies, is freezing only for externals? Also, in Max 7.2.1 I can't seem to find the dependencies to even see what they include, but I did read about that dependencies were stored in the Max 7 folder in My Documents (windows) and I can't find anything there with my particular patch.
    Thanks for any insights!

Ok, as I was suspecting the dependencies are no longer a part of Max (as of 6.1 I read). What I am trying now is to add the poly~ abstraction under the 'Show Containing Project" and then consolidating and then freezing the device. After I consolidate and save, I close and reopen and the poly~ abstraction is still being accessed (I'm not positive if it's accessing the consolidated version or the original, I'm not sure how to tell), but after I freeze the device, close and then reopen, the device is no longer accessing the consolidated abstraction. What is the conflict here?
