Skype Video into MAX
Does anyone know how it may be possible to get a Skype video call into MAX and record a segment of the call that can then be looped?

What about using jit.desktop to just screen grab the skype window? Or Syphon Screen Capture? http://v002.info/plugins/v002-screen-capture/
Skype also has an API, but I haven't worked with it to know how hard it would be to integrate into Max.
with jit.desktop you can record the video, but not the audio. if you want the audio look to Soundflower or similar...
I always thought Max could make a great alternative app to Skype too... :) all the tools are there...
i actually solved this problem with a program called callrecorder from ecamm
works very well! i can now record a conversation in skype, that bounces an avi file down, and then i can open this up in a max patch. has really helped my patch!
