Pattrstorage can do the trick but I dont understand what you mean by "objects inside an ableton clip"...

For some reason I can't use pattrstorage.

Let's say I have 4 dials, I set the position of each. I wish to press on a bang and write the position of each object as an automation inside an ableton clip.
