Soft synth

I just made a synth with Max 5.0, but I don't seem to be able to make a vst-'soft synth' with it in Max 5?!
I'm using plugmidiin, plugout~ and plugconfig (where I've added '#C synth').
My goal is to hook my synth up with 'Sony Acid' (which supports vst), can anyone help me? :)
- Mar 28 2011 | 8:29 pmyou can build plug-ins in maxmsp 5 - but you can export/compile only utilizing a copy of maxmsp 4. it is not a big problem to simply install that side by side.

- Mar 29 2011 | 10:42 pmI doubt its the same challenge, but you should get one from cycling for Max 4 if you have a Max 5 license. You could convert your patch with Frederik Olofssons Supercollider script to Max 4 ( http://www.fredrikolofsson.com/pages/ ), but there is a lot of stuff which doesn't work 1-to-1 in Max 4, it will also look different. Just check it out and adapt...
