What I wanted to do is have the Aduio Inputs in the DSP options setted to the MOTU, then route the audio into Max/MSP, then through core audio Soundflower ch16 route audio to Live 7.0.2 on seperate channels, then output Live to MOTU out 1-2.

With whatever, even a symple cycle playing through a gain.

I can turn DSP on in Max, but as soon as I touch the screen it crashes Max.

Works if input in Max is set to internal Audio card.

Settings are:
Max/MSP
Soundflower
Live
Novation Automap on

Macbook Intel 2 GHz
RAM 1GB
Novation Remote Zero (latest OS)
MOTU 828 MK2

So, I am using the MOTU as my default input/output Device in my Audio MIDI Setup.

Although I tried with the Built in driver, and Soundflower too.

I start to think that I do not get how to route correctly the dudes here.

For example I thought in Max I could use my 828 as Input and Soundflower as output, but clearly I cannot, why?

If I select MOTU as my core audio driver I do not have the Soundflower as my out options.

And when in Max I select Soundflower 16ch as my core audio driver and MOTU as input It crashes if the DSP is on and I touch the screen.

I thought this could be done in Max, since I went through a couple of threads and the manuals, that made me believe I could use multiple output/input combinations, especially in combination with Soundflower.

The fact is that I have this realtime polyphonic sampler/Recycler Patch, of which each output I would like to send to Live for further processing.

I get a Tempo sync from the sampler, pass it to Live.

So, I am a little lost, cause what I wanted was to have multiple inputs to the Patch.

Never thought about aggregating MOTU and Soundflower, was self misdriven by laziness I think.
