syncronization beats and triplets

hI guys! i'm trying to get a proper sincronization of 2 metros that are related to a transport.

-the first metro gives the first beat.. of, lets say a 4/4.

-then i have other metro outputing triplets in ticks...

the thing is... or one or another, always seem to be dragging in the first tempo of the signature...

am i missing something ultra obvious?

this problem doesnt happen with quarter notes ou 8th..

You might be miscalculating your ticks (8nt = 160 ticks)? Make sure your metronomes are quantized and started at the same time.
