I made a stereo LFO that can use a lot of CPU.

I'd like to run two more instances of the LFO so I can effect six channels of audio.

Is there a way to run multiple instances of the patch so that the CPU load is spread across multiple cores? Or is cramming everything into [poly~] the only way?

the easiest way is to use poly~ with @ parallel attribute set and the thread count the same as the number of cores you have. if it's an lfo you could downsample the poly so it uses less processing. otherwise you can make a standalone and launch different copies of it, but then you'd have to manage the output of those different sources, either using soundflower (mac ) or jack or using udp ports
