Since upgrading from 8.3.1 to 8.5.1 I have noticed a change in the behaviour of textedit.

Upon banging the object, the text output now adds a backslash before all apostrophes.

Does anybody know how I might be able to stop this from happening?

I have messed around with the attributes with no luck.

Alternatively, is there a neat way to later on remove all backslashes?

For example, in the following patch;   
Test.json "Test Sound" "" """    
becomes.
