Topic title says it all. I am pasting some text into a textedit box with ctrl+v then pressing a button connected to the textedit to send the data and it will not output. If i paste in the data then hit return (with "Return enters text" checked) it will work as expected. I am on the latest version of Max (8.0.1) and Windows 10

Topic title says it all. I am pasting some text into a textedit box with ctrl+v then pressing a button connected to the textedit to 

textedit doesn't do "Bang enters typed text" if you paste something in with ctrl + v
