The future of code export in Max 7

I've downloaded Max 7 and noticed that the code export method in gen~ is still considered 'highly beta' in the documentation. In this regard I was wondering if there are any plans of taking this feature further in next releases of Max 7 and if there will be more templates and examples released.

I'm also on this one. This is the only reason for me to upgrade to Max 7. I haven't heard anything new on gen except of documentation in version 7, which is by the way no more needed for my project as I found all the solutions myself. The only reason for me to upgrade is to have new Xcode project templates for use with Audiobus v2 and with iOS 8 support. Is it possible to use gen code compiled with Max 7 in this circumstances?

Not sure if you have seen this, but may help. It uses JUCE and appears to be aimed at making vst/au.
I think there is a video somewhere too... found it -

Thank you MWAG, this is an important link. My main concern is that I'm using Windows exportcode feature of Max 6 and it seems there is a missing file malloc.h in Gen~ exportcode folder. I asked Cycling '74 for this file but they never replied.
Should I start a new thread about this issue or maybe one of us could share his malloc.h header file for Max 6 export code? My project is heavily relied on Max 6 Gen~ and I do not want to move it on Max 7 Gen~ as it will scrumble some modules of the whole instrumentation.
