I am migrating to Max 7 but finding many 3rd party packages that do not run.

I am particularly interested in max 6/7 updates for

Jeremy Bernstein just updated my seedable random number generators for Max 6/7.

i feel i should help you get more exposure here(although getting help from me can be a bad thing, since i only go for bad forms of exposure here, muahahahaha!)... most newer folks don't seem to know who you are...

for externals or abstractions and such, we consider them 'tools', so you could just click the 'Create New +' button at the top-right of any webpage within this 'community' section of the website(you need to scroll to the top of the page to see this button, though), a pop-up menu appears from that button where you'll see options to create new forum topic, new tool, or new project.

When you start a new tool, you fill in all the fields, but the 'upload your tool' field is the most important(there you attach your .zip), and then when you're done, be sure to go over near the right hand side of the editing page, and hit 'submit for review'(the c74 employees usually approve it within a day and your stuff will appear at the top of the tools page, also be listed on your profile page as one of your tools, sometimes even on the homepage if their web-design is feeling like it during that season, haha ;p),

and you're done(if you're familiar with wordpress, it's very easy).

for other things which are more general, not specifically dealing with max patches or objects(but perhaps still relevant?) for example your .pdf papers here:

you could 'create new project' and you don't have to upload anything

(nor even prove that it had anything to do with max, just state that it does ;D), post a link to the project or info. and it's another good way to expose your work.

Some nice tools in your .zip, you and Peter Castine should collaborate on something!

P.S. oh, and sorry, i know nothing about 3rdPartyObjects(i believe everything can be done within standard Max7, and growing an addiction to 3rd Party Objects is unhealthy for your future growth). :D
